I have moved homes many times over three continents, and although I love exploring new places, I always find it hard to sleep in unfamiliar places. As my mother said once, I get “lost and spacy” during a move. At 12, when I traveled, I started bringing artifacts from my home to leave beside my bed so I could sleep.

Sometimes I move home for a new start, and as soon as I settle, I get to work decorating to create my new life. If I cannot move and need a new start, I redecorate and again claim a safe place.

My ultimate dream is to leave a beautiful home for generations to come. I have an idea of building a completely sustainable home where I know that future generations will be safe whatever happens. Whatever their financial situation, they will have a safe place to live their lives peacefully.

What is your story and dreams of home? For some, it is a fun, exciting house with fun things to do. For others, it is a place to hold big dinner parties. For others, it is a solid financial investment, where they will raise their kids and leave. Your story may not be mine – but whatever yours is, I would love to work with you to create yours.
